Inside the hotend

Top-of-the-range printers.

We print on high-end machines whose hotends reach 350 °C. Steady, even heat melts every layer properly, so each one fuses to the last into a strong, solid part.

  1. Heat sink

    Fins and a fan keep the filament cool and solid until the last moment.

  2. Heat break

    A thin metal neck stops heat creeping upwards, so the filament melts in one place only.

  3. Heater block

    Heated to as much as 350 °C, and checked by a sensor many times a second to hold it steady.

  4. Nozzle

    Molten plastic leaves through a hole a fraction of a millimetre wide, one fine line at a time.

We’re a 3D printing hotspot right here in the UK, not a factory overseas. Your order is printed on our own machines, checked by one of us, packed by hand and posted from the UK, usually within 5 working days. So there are no customs charges, no parcel crossing the world and no surprise fees at the door.
